John "Jack" Fitzgerald Enright 2001-2023

John "Jack" F Enright

Southampton, MA — In Loving Memory of John "Jack" Fitzgerald Enright

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, and friend, Jack Enright, who left us far too soon at the age of 21. Jack departed this world on December 12th, 2023, leaving behind a void that can never be filled.

Jack was a vibrant soul, full of passion and enthusiasm for life. Born on December 19th, 2001, he brought joy and laughter into the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. Jack was an exceptional young man who found profound happiness in the simple pleasures of life.

One of Jack's greatest loves was found under the hoods of cars, where he demonstrated an innate talent for understanding and repairing anything with an engine. His passion for working on cars was not just a skill; it was a form of artistic expression that allowed him to be his purest self and unwind from the stress of the world. Friends and family often sought Jack's expertise, and his garage became a haven for camaraderie and shared love for the automotive world.

Jack's heart was also deeply connected to his furry companion Oreo, the family's late dog; who was more than just a pet but a cherished member of the family. The bond they shared was a testament to Jack's caring nature and the loyalty he inspired in those around him.

Amidst the grease and tools, Jack's heart found another place to call home – in the company of his longtime girlfriend Nina Carmody. Their love was a source of strength and joy, and the moments they shared were filled with laughter, shared dreams, and unwavering support.

Jack's departure leaves an indescribable void in the hearts of his family and friends. We remember him not only for his love of his cars, dog, and girlfriend, but for the warmth of his smile, the kindness in his heart, and the genuine love he showered upon those he held dear. Jack leaves behind his parents Tricia and Larry Enright, his brother Luke Enright, and his longtime girlfriend Nina Carmody.

Reflecting Jack's long-time struggle with mental health disorders that he fought for years on end, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Magic for Maddie at www.magicformaddie.com. Magic for Maddie is a Southampton-based organization that raises money for local families, organizations, and research regarding the brain cancer DIPG.

A wake will be held at Boucher - O'Brien Funeral Home, 7 Pleasant St, Easthampton on Tuesday, December 19th from 3-6 pm, followed by a celebration of Jack's life, all are invited to attend, 7 - 9:30 pm at the Boylston Rooms, 122 Pleasant St, Easthampton. Please join us to share stories, laughter, and to remember the incredible soul who touched our lives in countless ways.

Jack's burial will take place at South Parrish Cemetery in Winchester, NH in the spring. He will be buried next to the land he dreamt of buying, and in close proximity to his late Uncle Paul Gamache whom he loved and cherished dearly.

May Jack's memory live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and may we find solace in the knowledge that his spirit will forever be a part of the cherished memories we hold dear.
