Lorraine Eva Dubois (Laprade), 91, passed away at Cooley Dickinson Hospital on June 21, 2023. She was born in Northampton on December 8, 1931, to the late Alfred and Delia Laprade. She is predeceased by her husband Robert P Dubois, her son Dennis P. Dubois and brother Roger Laprade.
She leaves her loving daughter Janet M Wilcox of Easthampton, her sister Sylvia Pendergast of Easthampton, grandchildren Aaron his wife “Nee-chole” Spiller of Westfield, Matthew Spiller, and Holly Wilcox both of Easthampton her great grandchildren Nathaniel and Kelsey Spiller of Westfield, and Laela Davis of Easthampton. She also leaves many other close family members and friends that she loved dearly.
Lorraine retired from Tubed Products after a long successful career. Lorraine was an avid reader frequently falling asleep in her favorite chair with a book in hand. For 40 years Lorraine was a member of many bowling leagues at Canal Lanes. One of her fondest times was when she was able to spend time with her “Kids”.
Calling hours will be from 4-6PM on Friday June 30, 2023, at Boucher – O’Brien Funeral Home, 7 Pleasant St Easthampton.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday July 5, 2023, Meeting at Our Lady of the Valley Parish, 33 Adams St, Easthampton for a 10AM Mass., burial will follow at Saint Brigid's Cemetery.
